I scream for those with hunger pains.
For those who hide among the rains.
Among a dark and dangerous street,
too cold and scared for them to sleep.
I wail for those who cannot read.
In pain they live without this need.
Without this skill, they live in strife.
Teach them friend, and change their life.
If cancer friend, is all you hear.
When your mind is gripped with fear.
Listen friend; we both can fight.

A battle waits, that’s surely clear.
It must be known… I will be here!
I yell among that silent crowd.
Those ashamed who wear their shroud.
Made to feel as less than some.

Come and help me cheer them on!
Help me fight what must be won!

With passion in my voice I scream!
With every call I wish their dream!
As all should do, I live with hope.
